On May 4, 2016, one of MMC's ongoing projects, Halifax Shopping Centre, officially opened The Terrace. The relocated food court is part of a multi-million dollar redevelopment project transforming the shopping centre into a dynamic retail environment. The Terrace features a new west entrance with floor to ceiling glass giving the food court an abundance of natural light, a new open-air patio, nursing lounge and washrooms.
